Iraq remains one of the most under banked countries in the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA). According to some estimates, almost 80% of Iraqi’s have no bank account. As relative stability and calm has returned to Iraq, commercial banking has seen significant growth in their business. Access to bank branches and ATM is very limited. There are approximately 900 bank branches serving 33 million Iraqi’s that is equating to one branch serving 36000 Iraqi. We see opportunity in this challenge.
